R R D S Government College, situated at Bhimavaram, in West Godavari district, is a co-educational college, managed by Government of Andhra Pradesh. The college was established in the year 1972 to impart quality higher education to the people of Bhimavaram and its nearby areas. The college was founded by Sri Chintalapati Bapiraju Dharnia Samstha and named after great social reformer Raja Ram Mohan Roy as Raja Ram Mohan Roy Dwisalha Jayanthi College. The college is well equipped with all infrastructure facilities within a quiet and beautiful campus.
