Formerly affiliated to the University of Pune, Symbiosis Law School, located in Pune of Maharashtra, was established in June 1977. Popularly known as SLS Pune, the institute facilitates distinctive programs in Legal Studies through creative and unique educational experiments. It is regarded as the first law school in Pune pioneering a five year law programme, along with evening law programmes. The institute boasts of several milestones in preparing future lawyers and corporate personnel.
SLS Pune became a constituent college of Symbiosis International University in 2002 and has, so far, earned an autonomy status in teaching, learning, and research. Constantly broaching new milestones in legal teaching and learning, the institute has recently been honored as a core partner of the global network of legal institutes of Erasmus Mundus. The institute imparts undergraduate and post graduate programs in the faculty of law, such as Bachelor of Arts & Bachelor of Laws (BA LLB), Bachelor of Business Administration & Bachelor of Laws (BBA LLB), and Master of Laws (LLM). Besides, the institute offers several Diploma, PG Diploma, and Certificate programs in Law and its related fields.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
Candidates should have completed the Intermediate/10+2 examination from any recognized Board in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate, in one attempt. No complementary or Supplementary students will be entertained for admission. Candidates should be less than 20 years of age to be eligible for both the undergraduate programs. A relaxation of 5% marks and two years of age will be offered to all SC/ST candidates.
Post Graduate:
Candidates who have passed three year or five year LLB program, or its equivalent, from any Indian or Foreign University, recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) with minimum 50% marks or its equivalent degree, are eligible for LLM program. SC/ST candidates need to obtain minimum 45% marks in their graduate program to be eligible for this program.
