The college was established in 2008 under the aegis of Prakhar Samojthan Pragati Samiti Sagar to bring out qualified nurses to serve the society. Swami Vivekanand School of Nursing is affiliated to Mahakaushal Nurses Registration Council, Bhopal to conduct Auxiliary Nurse & Midwife (ANM) and General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) courses. Candidate should have completed 10+2 or equivalent examination with 40% aggregate, preferably science subject or vocational nursing group conducted by a recognized Board or Council. Minimum and maximum age limit is 17 and 35 years. Reservations and relaxation are done as per the norms of Indian Nursing Council
