Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering Research & Technology, located at Chandrapur in Maharashtra, came into existence in 1983. Affiliated to Nagpur University, the self-financing college was established under the guidance of Sardar Patel Memorial Society's (Trust). It has been graded ‘A’ by Government of Maharashtra. With the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) New Delhi, Rajiv Gandhi College of Engineering Research & Technology offers technical programs at under graduate as well as at post graduate level. Most of its bachelor’s level courses are accredited by National Board of Accreditation, NBA. The college, formerly known as Chandarpur Engineering College boasts of providing ambience conducive for learning.
