Progressive Education Society's Modern College of Engineering (PES MCOE) is located in Pune city of Maharashtra. Also known as Modern College of Engineering, it was started in June 1999 under the leadership of Dr GR Ekbote, Chairman of PES.

Eligibility:
Undergraduate:
The eligible candidates should be 10+2 passed in Science stream with PCM group from any recognized board of state or central government.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
The candidate must be graduate from above mentioned stream.
MCA
Graduation in 10+2+3 order with Mathematics or any graduate with Mathematics as one of the subjects at 10+2 standard is mandatory.
MBA
Graduation in any discipline is mandatory.
Admission Procedure:
Undergraduate:
Admissions are done on the basis of merit. Reservation of seats is as per the directives of State Government of Maharashtra. 20% seats of total intake are admitted under Management quota.
Post Graduate:
M Tech
GATE qualifiers are preferred. However, unavailability of GATE qualifiers, NON GATE candidates is also considerable for admission to postgraduate courses.
MBA
Admissions are completed through on the basis of merit in entrance test, group discussion and personal interview. Merit of qualifying examination is also considerable in admission process. Some seats are also filled under management quota.
MCA
Admission is based on MHT-CET, group discussion and personal interview. There is also a provision of management quota seats for eligible candidates.
