Indian Institute of Management, popularly referred to as IIM, is among the most prestigious business colleges of India. The IIMs have gained international popularity and fame. IIM Trichy is one among the new IIMs to be set up soon. The college has already been registered by the Human Resource & Development Ministry under the Societies Act. The college, which is soon to start its first academic session, is likely to work under the joint mentorship of IIM Bangalore and IIM Kozhikode. Like other IIMs, IIM Tiruchirapalli is also expected to conduct two-year Post graduate diploma course in Management (PGDM). The college is also anticipated to provide state-of-the-art facilities to the aspirants, just like the existing Indian Institutes of Management.
