Government Takmil-Ut-Tib College is situated in Lucknow, the capital city of Uttar Pradesh. Founded in 1902, the college is renowned as one of the oldest and prestigious Unani medical colleges in the state as well as in the country. It is managed and run by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Government of Uttar Pradesh. Affiliated to Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur, the college is approved by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM), Government of India. Government Takmil Ut Tib College conducts an undergraduate course in the field of Unani Medicine - Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery (BUMS). The college has the capacity of admitting 40 students every year, to the course.
