DAV College of Engineering &Technology (DAVCET) is located in wide spread area of 40 acres of land at Mahendragarh district of Haryana. It came into existence in 2002, under the sponsorship of DAV College Managing Committee, New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. It conducts courses in various branches of engineering, at the undergraduate level. DAV College of Engineering &Technology has gained the approval of All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination from a recognized university/Board, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any of these subjects- Chemistry, Bio Technology, Computer Science/ Information Science and Biology.

The applicants should have passed Diploma Course in Engineering / Technology of three years duration or more from State Board of Technical Education, Haryana or its equivalent Diploma Examination. The candidate securing at least 60% aggregate marks in diploma can apply for admission in B. Tech under lateral entry scheme.

Admissions will be done on the basis of the candidate’s performance in All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).
The admission to B Tech programmes in lateral entry is made as per the merit of the students in LEET (Lateral Entry) exam and the norms of the Technical Education Department, Haryana.
