College of Engineering & Rural Technology Meerut, popularly known as CERT, was established in 2006. The college imparts education in a multitude of undergraduate courses, all of which are approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The college is affiliated to Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), Lucknow. With a view to ensure quality education to its students, the college has provided world-class facilities in its campus, which is spread over an area of 50000 sq. mtr. Currently, College of Engineering & Rural Technology Meerut offers engineering courses in various discipines at undergraduate level. In addition to this, the college also conducts Masters in Business Administration (MBA).

The eligible candidates should possess 10+2 / HSC passed certificate from any recognized board with the subjects Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry with at least 60% marks.
Post Graduate:
The eligible candidates must be Graduate in any discipline from any recognized university with minimum 60% marks.

Admission is based on merit in Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE), Lucknow. Candidates having diploma in engineering with minimum 60% marks can directly be admitted in the Second Year through UPTU. Vacant seats are filled by the Management.
