Master of Finance and Control (MFC) Entrance test is conducted by University of Delhi, for admissions to postgraduate course in finance and control.

MFC Entrance Test

The Department of Financial Studies, University of Delhi, conducts an entrance test for admissions to a postgraduate course in Finance and Control (MFC). The final selection of the candidates is done through the marks obtained by them in MFC Entrance Exam, followed by their performance in group discussion and personal interview. MFC is a postgraduate course, which is a two-year full time program. The course opens up career opportunities in a number of fields, including Investment Banking, Equity Research, Core Banking and Insurance, Real Estate and Commodity Markets, Business and Financial Consulting and other important areas of financial sector.

Eligibility

For admission in this program, the candidates need to have done graduation with not less than 50% marks, from any recognized University. Final year appearing students are also eligible to apply.

Examination Pattern

MFC Entrance Exam is a written test. The students have to complete the entrance test within 120 minutes. There are 240 questions asked from English Usage (60), Mathematical Aptitude (60), Data Sufficiency/Data interpretation/logical reasoning (60) and General Knowledge (60). As a part of the negative marking scheme, ¼ marks are deducted for each incorrect answer.

Syllabus

To be prepare for the entrance test, the students should practice Comprehension and Verbal Ability, Analytical Reasoning, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency, Quantitative Ability and Current Business & Financial Environment.
